On 17th July, 2016 (2nd Shrawan, 2073),Interaction Session on Social Health Security (Insurance scheme) of the Government of Nepal was successfully held at Alfa House, Kathmandu. Mr. Shanta Lall Mulmi enlightened the objectives of the interaction session. Deputy Dean of Institute of Medicine Dr. Sharad Onta, Central Member of Nepali Congress Mr. Pradip Paudel and Senior Public Health Officer of Social Health Security Development Committee Mr. Pranay Upadhyay presented the paper presentations in “Social Health Security Program: Deception & Reality”, “Social Health Security Program: Peoples concept & perception” and “Nepal’s Health Policy &Social Health Security Program” respectively.

Similarly, Mr. Jyoti Baniya from Consumer Forum, Dr. Shiva Raj Adhikari from Nepal Health Economics Association Mr. Binod Kaji Shrestha from Lumbini General Insurance Co.Ltd.and Mr. Prabhat Thapa and Project manager, KOICA were the commentators of the session.
